INVITATION TO MEMBERSHIP WITH DMPC
The Membership Committee, Session and the Rev's invite anyone who is interested in becoming a member of Davis Memorial to contact the Pastors at 636-2788. A New Members Class will begin in September, but those who are not able to attend and still would like to join, are encouraged to speak with the Revs for alternative preparation.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church announces the formation of their After-School Program at a cost of $7 per day. The program will serve Third Ward, Jennings, Midland and North Elementary Schools. The program is set to begin August 26th with the hours of 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday through Fridays excluding snow days and holidays. A healthy snack will be served. The program will provide homework assistance, targeted tutoring, reading, community projects, crafts, and field trips.

SPONSORING A CHILD - AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
If you are interested in sponsoring a child in the aftershool program set to begin on August 26th,all interested are welcome. The cost will be $7.00 per day or $35.00 a week. We are currently accepting applications for enrollment in the program and if you know of a child who needs a sponsor, please contact Elizabeth Troyer at the church office. If you would like to be put on our list of people willing to sponsor a child should a need arise financially for a parent, please let Elizabeth know.
